Trang Lu is a native of Vietnam. Her journey into the world of permanent makeup began under her first mentor, Thuy Van Bui of Rosa Beauty. Under her tutelage she learned how to do magic shading (NanoBrows) and microblading (Hair-strokes). It was then groundwork was being formalized for her great mapping skills and knowledge of pigments. About this same time Grandmaster Hau Nguyen, also of Vietnam, was creating her now famous SexyBrow Technique using the Tattoo pen tool instead of a nano blade (microblading tool). Having serviced over 1000 clients Trang’s deepened knowledge of American skin is currently helping other master technicians create precision made, naturally beautiful, and attractive face framing SexyBrows. Today Trang continues to reinvent the process for her understudy students and has created her second PMU course, QueenBrows (Perfect Ombre). She will be presenting SexyBrows On American Skin.

Mike Tong is married to Trang Lu and the father of their two beautiful children Eve and Erik. He has over 28 years experience in the beauty industry as an entrepreneur, business owner, master hair stylist, and licensed cosmetologist. Upon receiving his cosmetology license in 2005 he was accepted into the prestigious Paul Mitchell the School Education Program. For the next seven years Mike traveled for Paul Mitchell intimately immersed in hair shows. In addition to his stylist’s chair being booked out more than six weeks in advance, you can find him co-partnering with his wife Trang Lu in growing her PMU makeup business and classes. He is living proof that continuing education is the key to being a successful hairstylist and entrepreneur. Mike is MC of the show!
